| Biography |
Bennie brings a wealth of experience from the Sports industry to the Wolves. Prior to joining the Wolves, Bennie served as VP of Operations and Director of Football Operations for the Florence Phantoms. In 2008, the Phantoms finished with the most successful season in team history establishing records for wins and captured their first Eastern Division and Conference titles. With a record of 13-4 and a win in the AIFA Bowl II verse the Wyoming Calvary 48-12 the Phantoms were crowned the 2008 AIFA League Champions.
Over two seasons in the American Indoor Football Association, Bennie has lead two organizations to back to back championships. King won his first in 2007 with the Lakeland Thunderbolts and led Florence to the title game in 2008.
Bennie was awarded the 2008 AIFA General Manager of the Year award for these achievements .
Among the stops in his career in the sports industry Bennie has served in the Game Operations department of the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA. Bennie has worked with the Orange Bowl Committee in 2005, which hosted College Football’s National Championship and was a Market Research Assistant for the Miami Dolphins.
